To ensure a good fit, they have an elastic band across the instep and silicone strips inside the sock at the heel to prevent the sock from slipping down. Thanks to their high cotton content, they are pleasant to the touch and on the skin, and absorb moisture well. The chain-stitched toe connected by a flat seam does not cause pressure marks or blisters.
